Things to do in Fort Qu'Appelle this summer

Sample post. The businesses below are real and listed in the town directory, but this is a starting template rather than a first-hand account — rewrite it with your own visits before you publish.

The valley itself

Echo Valley Provincial Park sits between Echo and Pasqua lakes, a few minutes west of town, with beaches, camping and trails. It is the reason most people make the drive.

Echo Ridge Golf Course is out on Fort San Road, north of town.

In town

Broadway Street is where most of the shops and restaurants are. Worth a walk end to end:

  • Prairie Co-op Food Market and the Home Centre for anything you forgot to pack
  • Beth Grainger's Florist and Gifts, Echo Fashions and Second Chance Thrift Boutique along Broadway West
  • Valley Bake & Coffee Shop on Broadway East

Eating

The restaurants page has the full list. Ming's Garden, Becky's Place and Trifon's are all in the centre; Treehouse Plus Ice Cream & Hotdog is on Broadway East.

Rainy afternoons

The Fort Qu'Appelle Museum on Bay Avenue covers local history, and the Prairie CO-OP Rexcentre on 4th Street East is the community rink and rec centre.

Opening hours aren't listed on this site yet — most businesses here haven't claimed their listing. Phone ahead.
